This was a really sweet story. For it to be a short story

This was a really sweet story. For it to be a short story, Suzette was able to tell the story and give us the history, and not feel like she rushed the story. My favorite line in the book was "Why is she here with us?". That was so cute to me, considering the husband's attitude towards children. Looking forward to the next story.

Great story. Marriages are a work in progress. Glad they did not give up on each other. You never know what childhood experiences will shape your life. And ultimately how you choose to deal with them.

Wesley and Bianca have what should be an ideal life. Even though they got off to difficult start, they are now young, black, married, each with a career they enjoy. However, there is one major thing that is keeping them from happiness; Wesley doesn't want have children, flat-out, no questions asked. Bianca on the other hand is feeling that motherly itch, which eventually drives her to make some desperate decisions. Decisions that will could drive them apart permanently or bring them together in marital bliss.
I like this short story a lot. The thing I found most endearing about is how the characters were extremely realistic, as was there marriage. Romance novels sometimes focus too much on make each hero the most perfect, thoughtful, kindhearted, open man in the world. In reality though, your dream man is probably going to look more like Wesley. I appreciate how the author showed how marriage take patience, persistence, and determination to work in the long run. I think I will follow this series because it has potential.
